The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Cooperation for Development, H.E. Ambassador Edouard BIZIMANA,took part on November 24, 2025, in Geneva, in an important meeting of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. This event comes at a time of growing international concern regarding issues of racism and discrimination. It aims to mobilize Member States around this fundamental challenge.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the responsibilities of nations in combating racial discrimination. Discussions focused on initiatives and measures to be implemented to ensure equal rights for all, regardless of ethnic or racial origin. H.E. Ambassador BIZIMANA emphasized the importance of collective commitment and international cooperation to advance this cause.
