In Washington D.C., Burundian President Mobilizes Private Investors for a Win-Win Partnership

This 7/2/2025, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye, met with different groups of investors who wish to work with Burundi for a win-win partnership with a view to achieving the Vision of Burundi as an emerging country in 2040 and a developed country in 2060.

The Burundian Number One thus received in audience a group of investors from the company JAG (Jones Aviation Group). They discussed the financing of the project to restart the Burundi Airlines Company. With 50 years of experience in the field of aviation, this company is willing to provide its expertise and provide capacity building training to staff.

The Head of State also granted an audience to the co-founders of the company “Revive medical partners” who are interested in investing in the establishment of small hospitals and medical clinics in Burundi.

The founders of the companies “Facet Power” and “Jeni-Eco” also met with the Burundian Head of State to present their projects to invest in Burundi in the field of energy ecosystems, waste management and recycling.

The President of the Republic encouraged these investors to come and visit Burundi to inquire and explore their respective areas of interest before informing them about the investment opportunities offered by the new Burundian Mining Code.

The day of this Friday for the Presidential Couple was closed by the visit of the Museum of the Bible which is an interactive and educational museum dedicated to the history and cultural impact of the Bible.

Located in the heart of Washington D.C, the Museum of the Bible opened its doors in 2017 and is managed by the “Bible Museum Foundation”, a non-profit organization. It houses a vast collection of artifacts, manuscripts and printed Bibles, covering more than 4,000 years
